1.     Drilling

According to different specifications, choose the corresponding standard drill bit to drill, and the drill depth is greater than or equal to the installation depth of rebar couplers.

2.     Tapping

Use special taps for rebar couplers marked with specified thread specifications to tap. The length of the tap must exceed the length of the wire thread insert. For through holes, all taps must be tapped. After tapping, the threaded holes should be cleaned.

3.     Installation

In general, the manual installer should be used to install rebar couplers. Put the rebar couplers into the installation tool and insert the installation handle into the guide rod groove. Turn the installation tool handle to screw the wire threaded sleeve into the screw hole.

4.     Remove the handle

For wire thread inserts with broken grooves, the mounting handle should be removed after screwing into the screw hole.
