Process principle:

The cold extrusion rebar coupler connection is to put two bars into the rebar coupler, then use a cold extruder to extrude the connection sleeve radially, so that the coupler is cold plastically deformed and the steel bars are tightened, thereby causing shearing force to transmit stress loads.

The actual operation of the extrusion coupler:

1. Marking a positioning mark and an inspection mark at the end of steel bar before the extrusion connection for the steel coupler would stretched after extrusion, the positioning mark enters the joint, so the mark is set to check whether the position of the steel coupler is correct.

3. When squeezing, it must be done from the indentation mark in the middle of the joint to both sides.

4. When extruding, the semi-finished product should be placed on a stand to prevent contamination in the extrusion cylinder.

5. The cold extrusion rebar coupler should be consistent with the specifications of the steel bar. When the steel bar changes in diameter, if the steel bar differs by one grade, a large diameter coupler can be used. If the steel bar differs by two grades, it is must to take a transition section.
